I never really took to dolls, although I had one or two that I loved. I preferred crafty things, like paper dolls, where you gave each one a different pattern on her dress. Unfortunately this tangle didn't scan too well, but you get the idea.
Claire, this one really made me smile. I love your interpretation this week. This string of dolls reminded me of a toy assembly line until two dolls peeked out with a special surprise. They're definitely ready for something fun. :-) Thank you for playing with my challenge this week. :-)
It's a funny suprise to suddenly see these eyes pop up in your tile :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is cute. I had forgotten about doing the string of paper dolls, thanks for the memory.
ReplyDeleteI love this! You and I had a very similar response! Take a look at mine today.

This is adorable. I love the angle and choice of patterns.
ReplyDeleteYes Adorable is the right word. I like the eyes of the dolls, so feminine and so lovely. Great way to do the challenge.
ReplyDeleteI love the patterns you used on the dresses...it makes them look like fabric from the forties. This is a wonderful tile!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE, love this tile! This angle is so cute, her eyes so pretty.
ReplyDeleteAdorable tile! I love it :)
ReplyDeleteYour dolls are really amazing - I love the eyes especially!!! They look so cute :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely paper doll chain - the patterns you chose work really well and I like the addition of the 'dotted line' here and there!
